Every time a product page is accessed by a user it polls the pad file for more recent information, if more recent information is found it automatically updates itself with no intervention required from the site owner or publisher. It even downloads icons and screenshots to your server automatically.

Any referring keywords coming into your site will be displayed in the search box with a notification to complete the search, the keyword is then logged and displayed on the site's search statistics.
Whenever statistics don't match up they are updated automatically, think of it as automated database maintenance
